Bachelor of Education General Program – Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers

There is no doubt that language is a fundamental pillar in the process of human thought. It is also the vessel of knowledge and the primary means of communication, understanding, and interaction between nations and peoples. Furthermore, it serves as an essential tool for individuals to express their needs and purposes. While this significance is shared among all languages across time and space, the Arabic language has distinguished itself with unique characteristics that place it at the forefront of languages. Complete eloquence is only achieved through it, as stated in the Quran: “In a clear Arabic tongue” (Quran 26:195).

An observer of the movement and spread of languages on the linguistic map can clearly notice the vast influence of Arabic among the world’s languages. The demand for learning Arabic has continued to rise, particularly among non-native speakers in Africa and Asia. This is due to its crucial role in facilitating communication in social relations and various humanitarian fields, as well as strengthening bonds of friendship and mutual benefits among people. This affirms the global nature of the Arabic language, as stated in the Quran: “And We have not sent you except comprehensively to mankind as a bringer of good tidings and a warner” (Quran 34:28).
