Academic Degrees
The college grants a Bachelor of Science (General) in Commercial Studies for the relevant specialization in eight semesters, and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Commercial Studies for the relevant specialization in ten semesters. The specializations include:
- Business Administration (Industrial Management, Managerial Economics, and Management Information Systems).
- Accounting and Financial Management.
- Banking and Insurance.
The Bachelor’s degree curriculum in Commercial Studies
The Bachelor’s degree curriculum in Commercial Studies is structured as follows:
- In the first four semesters, students collectively study a foundation of commercial science courses (74 credit hours) along with 23 credit hours of university-required courses.
- Business Administration students study together in the fifth and sixth semesters, covering 42 credit hours.
The specialization begins in the fifth semester with four additional semesters focused on courses specific to the field of study. Students who achieve a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher will graduate with a general Bachelor’s degree in the relevant specialization. Additionally, students who meet the graduation requirements for the general Bachelor’s degree and achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher are offered the opportunity to complete two more semesters to earn a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree.
