Centers - Faculty of Education - Hantoub
Center for Educational Research and Studies
Established in 1999 at the Faculty of Education – Hantoub.
Objectives:
- Conduct research and studies to develop educational knowledge and improve the reality of general and higher education in a way that serves individuals and society.
- Identify the problems and challenges facing the progress and development of education in various fields, in collaboration with relevant authorities in ministries of education and other institutions, and carry out scientific research in these areas.
- Organize specialized training courses in both general and higher education.
- Provide consultation and specialized expertise in the fields of education and pedagogy to institutions, organizations, and individuals at the state and federal levels.
Center for Translation and Languages
The Council of Professors, in its meeting No. (210) on June 20, 2016, approved the establishment of the Center for Translation and Languages, with the aim of achieving the following objectives:
- Provide translation services to institutions and individuals.
- Prepare and qualify students for obtaining degrees at the postgraduate level (Diploma – Master’s – PhD).
- Provide training opportunities in all translation specialties.
- Conduct research and studies in the fields of living languages and local dialects.
- Publish research related to languages and translation.
- Improve students’ proficiency in both English and Arabic.
- Contribute to translating scientific and cultural books from foreign languages into Arabic.
- Contribute to translating Sudanese heritage and cultural books into various foreign languages.
- Strengthen ties with relevant institutions and bodies working in the field of translation.
